Илья Соловьев начал свою карьеру в 2007 г. И всего за год добился больших успехов! В 2008 году Илья вошел в TOP 100 ди-джеев России под номером 70.

Музыка Ильи выходит на крупнейших мировых лейблах, таких как Armada, Shah Music, Addictive Global и многих других, а гостевые миксы постоянно находятся в ротации на различных радиостанциях по всему миру.

В январе 2008 года Илья Соловьев и Сергей Половников (Poshout) открывают собственный рекорд-лейбл Timeline Music и первый же релиз «Ilya Soloviev – Sunwaves» сразу получил массивную поддержку от таких известных ди-джеев и продюсеров как Armin Van Buuren, Sean Tyas, John O`Callaghan, Solarstone, Aly & Fila, Sebastian Brandt, Ferry Corsten, Ronski Speed, Andy Pulser, Orjan Nilsen, Shawn Mitiska и др.
«Sunwaves» по итогам голосования слушателей, занял третье место в радио-шоу Ferry Corsten’s Countdown (Январь 2008 г.). Лучший ди-джей планеты (по версии DJMAG TOP100) Armin Van Buuren включил «Sunwaves» в ротацию своего еженедельного радио-шоу «A State Of Trance».

В ноябре 2008-го года ремикс проекта Crystal Design (Илья Соловьев и Сергей Poshout) на трек "Prometeus" музыкантов Xgenic (Аргентина) попадает в радиошоу Trance Around The World (Above & Beyond) и еще множество радиостанций по всему миру.
Сейчас Timeline Music - это знак качества, который стал визитной карточкой Ильи на мировой музыкальной сцене!

За время своей карьеры Илья уже успел побывать с гастролями во многих городах России и за рубежом : Прага (Чехия), Хельсинки (Финляндия), Варшава (Польша) . Играл на одной сцене с такими грандами танцевальной музыки как Above & Beyond, Ronski Speed, Kyau & Albert, Mike Koglin, Bobina и другими
Летом 2008-го года Илья был одним из главных участников многотысячного рейва Colors Of Sound 2008 (Польша) где выступал с такими топ-диджеями как Simon Patterson, Manuel Le Saux, Orjan Nilsen, Marcus Schossow, Digital Nature и др.

Одним из главных достижений Ильи за 2008 год, без сомнения, можно считать выход его трека «Lover Summer» на одной из самых популярных в мире cерий компиляций танцевальной музыки A State Of Trance (Mixed By Armin Van Buuren) . Илья Соловьев стал первым российским музыкантом, чье имя оказалось в плейлисте сборника A State Of Trance 2008 .
Композиция «Lover Summer» получила огромный успех во всем мире и явилась одним из самых ожидаемых релизов 2008-го года. Armin Van Buuren активно играет «Lover Summer» на крупнейших рейвах и фестивалях уже несколько месяцев подряд (Armin Only, Amsterdam Dance Event и др.) и номинировал ремикс от Orjan Nilsen на лучший трек 2008-го года!

Следом за этим, новый сингл Universal Universe получает еще большую поддержку и попадает на огромное колличество различных компиляций по всему миру, в числе которых легендарная серия Trance Nation (Ministry Of Sound)
